Re: President’s Ambassador Program
The spring semester is well underway and has already proven to be a busy one. Your organization’s involvement in sponsoring academic, political, social and cultural programs on campus is not only advantageous for your group but also helps make CSULB one of the most standout universities in the nation.
As interested and involved student leaders, you are the best and brightest representatives of CSULB. With this in mind, I am pleased to inform you that we are looking for new members for the President’s Ambassador Program. The President’s Ambassadors Program is a unique group of students selected from the 35,000 students at California State University, Long Beach to serve and represent President Alexander and the University in multiple capacities. We are looking for students who are enthusiastic, poised, highly motivated and who have experience in public speaking, leadership roles and professional settings.
This is a fantastic opportunity to give back to the University and to enrich your college experience. I would like to request your assistance in passing this information on to your members. Those interested in applying are strongly encouraged to attend one of three upcoming information sessions:
Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 5:00 pm in USU 204
Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at 12:30 pm in USU 202
Thursday, March 13, 2008 at 5:00 pm in USU 202
Applications will be available starting February 25th, 2008 in the Office of the President, Brotman Hall 300, as well as at all 3 information sessions.
**The deadline for application submission is 5:00pm on March 28, 2008 in the Office of the President, Brotman Hall 300**
